Can you imagine how difficult that life style must be. And he probably put everything into it every night that he performed. How can you keep that up? I wonder if they had breaks from tours? I guess I was around nineteen when they started touring. And around that time I started working for my husband's business so I became enslaved in that. The radio was on all the time so of course I heard all their songs all the time. But didn't necessarily follow the ins and outs of things. Have only recently been listening again and reading about them. I didn't even know what Mr. Perry looked like until recently. That's pretty weird I guess. But I have to say, his voice is the best voice in r and r history. What a gem. Bring us some more tunes please Mr.Perry.
Mirror, Mirror!!!!!!!
This show was performed 1 week after my 10th birthday
I love you honey Steve Perry
no sugar
high and dry
60 years
we broke some eardrums
yup
Seen them the same year in London Ontario enjoyed myself with my sister and brother in law
Awesome 👌
27:23 I loved it when he said 'Watch this,' referring to the other singers in his era... adorable! 😁
Such a beautiful man. What an awesome interview. Thank you so much for sharing ❤
It is truly the best gift, giving the world your beautiful, amazing, wonderful voice. The interviews you have participated in let your fans see the beautiful person you are ❤.
Back when then were still a hard rock band at their peak at a time when rock ruled the airwaves in one of the best rock cities in the world, this would have been awesome to experience.
WHEELS touched down! The Voice for sure. You did the right thing for you. You are ARNELS MENTOR.
the last year that this band was legitimate in the world of real rock and roll.
One of the best, second to Freddie in my opinion. Love your record Steve
I saw this tour but it was Billy Squire and Def Leppard was the opening act I heard in the middle of the tour they broke away and started their own tour
Billy Squire step aside please
If Def Leppard sounded like this all the time, I never would stopped listening to them after Pyromania
You got that right
They lost the edge when Pete Willis left
true, although Hysteria was Good. im gonna be doing a Video About Def Leppard they were such a Good band. Last 6 Albums? sucked
@matthewvanselow1979 they lost 1/2 their sound when they got rid of Pete! I'll take the first two albums over anything else they did every time!!
@@1wickedgroove well Yes their older stuff is better But Pete was a Violent Drunk, Basically a smaller version of Dave Mustaine.
Always so weird seeing Rick play with both arms
I saw Leppard amble onstage at Wembley two weeks ago, when Steve Clark passed, Leppard we’re pretty much done. He was the heart of Leppard.
Rick Allen
As great a singer Steve Perry is, now I see he's even a better man. The fact that he agreed to meet Kelly after learning she was probably going to die says it all. I have a new-found respect for Steve.
Steve Perry interviews are always so real. He always tell very interesting things about his music and his personal life. I love you Steve you are the most for real celebrity that has ever given interviews. I always learn very interesting things about you past and present. I believe that to know you. Is to really love you. Who wouldn’t want to date or love you?❤️🔥❤️🔥🔥🔥💯💯👍👍🌹🌹💋💋
We missed him more than anyone else who quit. So glad he's back to be with us fans.
First concert ever for me this tour! LA Forum! 17 years old. Just as I remember it...
This looks like the Van Halen 1984 concert at the same venue from about the same spot. Same person filming?
Thanks for this post, great memories of seeing them July 16th in Edmonton AB with the always great Uriah Heep! The only problem was too many didn't care to hear the openers as they wanted Def Leppard, which is fine but it was a great show all around ,I still had my shirt from the show! but it finally fell apart from wearing and age!
HIgh N Dry is THE record I would take with me if I could only TAKE ONE! Loved when Leppard Rocked!!!
Same here
Darn I bet my wife I would not hear John 5 mentioned in this, chores for a month for me.
this is so good
So many rockin bands in the 80s positively the best decaide to be a teenager i graduated in 1987. Hard rockin partin sleep wen u die type life style. 53 now still rockin but the other stuff took a back seat to being less agile and im guessing the crazyness played out.. still have lots of fun though..
Love Steve Perry, but people have to get over the whole Journey thing. Let it go, they have moved on with Arnel. And the current feud between Steve and Neil is like , who cares, honestly these guys are rich boys fueding about more money and the fans we really don't care about this!!
I'd forgotten they did CCR, and it's so great remembering Steve this way. 💥💗💥💗💥💗💥💗💥💗
Thank You for sharing these great memories! 😁 ❤️🔥💥❤️🔥💥❤️🔥💥❤️🔥💥❤️🔥
Joe is such a Ham
Journey will never be Journey without Steve Perry
I saw them on 1982. They opened for Billy Squire at Market Square in Indianapolis. Awesome

I wish they would put out a gigantic box set with stuff like this. How cool would it be to have these shows remastered on Blu-ray and cd with a book of never before seen photos. I know that’s digging deep but it could be done.
saw them two weeks later at Cape Cod Colliseum in South Yarmouth MA - awesome show
This was the tour I seen them in Las Vegas NV. I was 15 years old. One of the best concert I had seen at the time. For stage performances and clarity of the music was awesome.
No Closeups
Yeahh..SMC rocked Switch 625 hard. Spotlight on him just like his idol Jimmy Page, giving hand signs to the rest of the band during songs
That was so cool and sucha rare sight to see joe elliot join in with them playing guitar on swicth 625. Ive never seen him play guitar before, Legendary!!
I miss Steamin Steve Clark so very much😩😢😭
So glad he's back. Good for him taking care of himself! 💜
